Wear Your Own Skin...

So we had our usual bi-weekly fur protest against Vollbracht Furs that we've been having since Febuary of 2006 (it's every Saturday, except in the summer), here's a picture of a couple of the protesters. It was a good protest, there were 15 of us there and a few people just walked up and asked if they could join. The fur industry is one of the cruelest and most useless forms of making profit. Animals are skinned alive, trapped in mutilating devices, genitally electrocuted, and all for profit. It's just not right, the animals are voiceless to stop their suffering and it's up to people who have a voice to speak out and let those inflicting torture know we are not blind to what they are doing. The taking of innocent life is the price we pay for vanity...

Good on you. Even though I'm one of those meat eating types, I still think the taking and wearing of fur is damn atrocious.

BTW, just got back from Maui, where I feasted on Guri Guri ice cream.

    Aloha!
